Tobago Carnival 2024 Itinerary

Dates: (Oct 24th - 29th, 2024)

Day 1: Arrival in Tobago, Welcome

Land at Tobago's airport and check into the your hotel.

 

Enjoy your welcome refreshments and spend the day exploring the nearby beaches or taking a leisurely walk to familiarise yourself with the area.

Day 2: Tobago Carnival Costume Fitting and Eco Island Tour

Your carnival costumes will be delivered to your accommodation where you will try your outfit on and make sure that everything is fit just snug.

 

Afterward,

Take a guided eco-tour to learn about the flora and fauna of the island and the history of Tobago. We will be visiting sites such as the Argyle Waterfall, the Fort King George Historic Site, and the famous Buccoo Reef Tobago's rainforest. Take a guided birdwatching tour to see some of Tobago's unique bird species, such as the Trinidad Motmot and the Blue-backed Manakin

 

We will round off the night with a bonfire in the countryside.

Fun fact: The costume chosen is eco-friendly and made of recycled carnival material

Day 3: J’ouvert and Mud Mas

Rise early to get ready and paint the town.

 

Join us for an unforgettable J'ouvert experience on our group trip! Embrace the vibrant culture of the Caribbean as you dance your way through the streets covered head to toe in vibrant paint and powder. Feel the energy of the crowd as you move to the rhythm of soca music and revel in the joyful celebration of life.

You will also get to experience Mud Mas. The mud symbolizes the breaking down of societal barriers and promotes unity among participants. This event is a must-do for anyone looking to fully immerse themselves in Tobago's Carnival culture.

Day 4: Tobago Carnival Street Parade

Meet your group and join in the festivities, dancing to the rhythms of soca. Enjoy food, drinks, and live performances from various bands as you make your way through the streets.

Day 5: Carnival Cool Down - Nylon Pool and Beach Day

Experience the ultimate beach day on our Nylon Pool excursion. Spend a day basking in the sun, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and soaking up the beauty of Tobago. Take a boat ride to the Nylon Pool, a shallow sandbar with crystal-clear waters and a lively party atmosphere.

 

Enjoy refreshing drinks and light snacks as you lounge on the beach, play beach games, or snorkel around the coral reef. After Nylon Pool, we'll head to the world-renowned Pigeon Point Beach for an afternoon of relaxation, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, sun, and sea on the beautiful island of Tobago!

Ecotourism Activity: Participate in a beach clean-up initiative or organise one with your group. This is a great opportunity to help protect the environment while enjoying the beautiful beaches of Tobago.

Day 6: Departure from Tobago

Let the Tabanca begin! Check out of your hotel and head to the airport for your departure flight.

Optional Eco Add-Ons: Visit the Buccoo Reef Marine Park, which is a protected area that has many opportunities for snorkeling and diving.
